Jan Kelly is an emerging visual artist living in Toronto, Canada. She primarily creates in oils and pastels, although earlier artwork included watercolour and acrylic paintings. Since retiring as a special education teacher in 2005, Jan has studied art continuously by taking numerous and varied classes every year. Many of her paintings are based on photographs from trips to Europe, Asia, Africa, the Caribbean, North and Central America and they serve as a personal travel journal.
